I reckon this one's good enough to make it in serialization, yeah?

Kenn's Comment: The story is set before the anime starts, and speculates on Homura and Mami's meeting before Mami meets Sayaka and Madoka. 

Homura is bad-ass, taking out the witch with what was most likely an American style liberation (read: lots of bombs). It's really, beautifully drawn, and the graphite medium makes it all that much more gorgeous. The action is great; it draws from scenes from the anime, like Mami fighting Charlotte, or Homura against the Walpurgisnacht witch. Anyone who liked the anime will also like this one, as it has the same feel as the anime did.
