The club room of the defunct Tea Ceremony Club has been taken over by a 4-person group of ne'er-do-wells calling themselves "The Amusement Club". The Student Council, erstwhile allies of justice, finally get off their butts to sweep out these ruffians...such a volume 1 is, actually, not at all what you can expect from this manga, a full-bodied comedy. Overflowing with love, it's guaranteed to give you the energy to live healthily and heartily for tomorrow. Alrighty! Papa's going back to sleep now!

Kenn's Comment: As bad as that summary sounded, it's surprisingly quite fitting for the series. Rumours of the manga getting an anime have been floating around for god knows how long, and it's finally got it! I think this is the first series from YuriHime (the magazine it runs in) to get animated. A few years ago (when the rumour started) I think this might've been almost 'groundbreaking'. But at the moment, there's already been K-ON, Lucky Star, A-Channel; series with a group of girls, usually 4~5, doing fun stuff. This one really isn't too much different, aside from the fact that this one runs in Yurihime S, so don't walk into this expecting to see a guy.

And regarding the *. Yurihime, as it's name more or less spells out, is a shoujo-ai / yuri magazine (lesbians in layman's terms). Yuri tends to be of more...sexual nature, while Shoujo-Ai is more on the fluffy, less explicit side of the topic. The same goes for yaoi and shounen-ai.

Recommended for:

• People who think moe is stupid
• People who think homosexuals are evil in every single way
