Like the previous one, I've definitely put this one up for a Manga of the Week.
Title: 妖狐X僕SS, Inu x Boku SS, Dog x I Secret Service (literally)
Animation Production: David Production
Genre: Comedy, Romance, Supernatural
Airs: 01/12 26:00 MBS
Website: http://www.inuboku.tv/
Series Summary from MangaUpdates:
The Shirakiin house's daughter, Shirakiin Ririchiyo, who has a complex about being unable to live independently and unprotected, feels the need to move out and live on her own under the condition of residing in the mansion named "Ayakashi Kan." In this mansion, only those who have cleared a very strict examination could reside in it, and for each resident, they are accompanied with one agent of the Secret Service (S.S.). Although Ririchiyo has rejected the company of the S.S., while residing in the mansion she finds out that the agent dedicated to protecting her is actually the Fox Spirit whom she previously rescued.Kenn's Comment: Everywhere seems to have this problem. It really shouldn't matter much whether a series is a shoujo or shounen, because they can be enjoyed regardless. It'd be like only hanging out with either boys or girls because you like one more than the other. Nevertheless, Fujiwara's art and style always seems to come across to people as a shoujo series, but most of her works are serialized in Shounen magazines.
Anywho, I'm really looking forward to this one. Not only is it the first of Fujiwara-sensei's works to be animated (to my knowledge; she's probaby thrilled), it's being animated by David Production, a relatively new company with an impressive track record to date. In recent seasons, they've really made a name for themselves, first coming in with Restaurante Paradiso (I didn't watch it) and then the wonderful Level E, and this season, Bento!.
I haven't read much of the manga, so I'll be going into this with baited breath. The character designs and the animation are quite nice.
