Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them.

Kenn's Comment: I know nothing about this series other than it's a Nitro Plus creation, the game that is. White Fox did some good work with Katanagatari, and the voice cast is rather impressive (anything with Miyano Mamoru instantly get plus points.) The premise of the story is highly interesting, and the PV is quite well animated.

That being said, the recent Nitroplus series haven't exactly been wonderful. Chaos;Head was disappointing to say the least. Phantom was great up until the last episode...the final moments of that episodes weren't to my liking. Blassreiter...let's not talk about that. Not sure what happened with Togainu no Chi. Didn't watch it. Whether this one suffers the same fate as the others is up to White Fox. Here's to hoping they'll give it some love.
