Second installment of the summer series review!

Alrighty, the next series up to bat is 伝説の勇者の伝説, Legend of the Legendary Heroes.

First episode was like the hook. Set somewhere further in the story, the first episode's purpose was to draw viewers in. Have to say that it probably worked. Wasn't much in the way of character introductions, as there were a bunch of characters that are there, but no ones really sure what they're there for.

As far as battles go, the first episode showed both a slightly serious side and a comedic side of fighting. I've only shots of the battle nearer to the end of the episode, but there was another one early in the episode.

A party of characters chasing after Ryner, the main character. The leader (girl at the front) is really cute and has a drill ponytail. Not really sure what their goal is.

The King's aides. There's more than these guys, but they seem like a fun group of guys. Not only do they help with the king's chores, but they're also his guard.

Then came episode 2, where everyone cringed and dropped the series because it was boring. Kiefer was pretty cute, though I can see why everybody else was pissed off about Ryner more or less being babied by her.

She also makes his lunches. Man, he's got one helluva girl with wife credentials there.

Ryner! Save yourself!
Will do! Have fun!
Man that scene was funny. Note that the captions aren't what actually is said during that scene.

Those who didn't drop the series were rewarded by an awesome third episode. They were also treated to a gore fest of exploding humans, and student getting chopped up in and thrown around. Everyone you came to know and love in the previous episode is now more or less in at least 3 pieces and dead.

Be very afraid, Kiefer. The man you love is a monster and just tore an army of men up into a bajillion pieces.

And then the kiss as the end sealed the deal. Can you guess who's behind the bars, and who's on the outside?

Then came episode 4, which was great. Hobo Ryner!! He does look a bit like Hobo Hei (DTB2)

Much of the episode took place in Ryner's cell. The darkness more or less killed any sense of time you might get, but that one window showed the passage of time while he's holed up in his cell. Seasons can be observed from that window. Should also be noted that there's a spider in the picture on the far left. Aside from himself and the guard, the spider is the only other 'person' in the cell with him. He even goes so far as to share some of his food with the little guy.

The prison guard was really nice and you could tell how much time passed during Ryner's stay in the cell by how much the guard's daughter had grown.

This shot is at the 'end' of Ryner's sentence, so to speak. The image before this was when Ryner was first taken to the prison, so at least a few years had passed with Ryner sitting in that cell.

Ryner's beautiful executioner makes her appearance. Ferris is the beautiful knight who's beauty can destroy the world. Of course that's basically what she said. She's an interesting character.

And with a flap of the cape, the King sits down upon his throne. It was fabulous, to say the least. Sion's probably a victim to the silver haired trope too.

And now for some more Ferris random images.

Ferris's younger sister, torturing a bald old man.
Now you see Ryner...
Now you don't!

Retards called this Geass v3, but it's more like Rental Magica than Code Geass. Geass Faggots. *shakes head*

Keifer really loved Ryner, even going so far as to attack him in his room. And by attack, I don't mean with weapons.

You! Stay tuned for the next installment! Expect within a few days! Keep your eyes peeled! Leader's orders!
