That's right! Namine Ritsu is the newest addition to the Vocaloid family! Ritsu's voice is somewhere between Luka's and Miku's...and supposedly is best at singing requiems. The profile seems odd too..
Age: 6
Height: 156 cm
Sorry. I lied. Ritsu's a creation by the folks at 2ch, the people who made Teto and Ruko. It's another one of their tricks to fool people into thinking that there's a new Vocaloid.
Another thing: Ritsu's a guy. Yes, as Admiral Akbar famously exclaimed, "it's a trap!", the same phrase can be applied here with Ritsu. I'm guessing earlier on, some artists didn't realize that Ritsu was a guy, and added breasts. Of course, that's explained here.
The folks over at 2ch might not be so far off though, as there's supposedly a new Vocaloid in the works by Crypton, the ones who brought us Miku, Rin/Ren, and Luka. This one's a male Vocaloid, with voice sampling supposedly from a 'young popular seiyuu'. More details over at ANN.
E.F.B~恒久の氷結~
I be on top of things. Need something to post that's not YT related ^^"
Title: 따라해, Wannabe
Artist: Epik High (에픽 하이) ft. Mellow
Genre: Hip Hop
Album: [e]nergy ([e] Disk 2)
Vintage: 16/9/09
Kenn's Comment: xD The MV. Entertaining. The song is good too. xD Can't say too much.
Then there's this mix of G Dragon's "Breathe", and this, "Wannabe". It's by Alan JW. N (cityincolours)
I know all of my posts have been YouTube videos lately, but this one's really something. It's just so awesome. It's not a new song by the way. The video is new though.
The song is quite catchy, and that video is just awesome.
It starts with Reimu, then goes to Marisa, which then goes to Patchouli. From Patchouli, it goes to Remilia, which then leads to Sakuya, and then Flandre. It then goes to Youmu and Myon, with Yuyuko in the background. She'll take the foreground, and then, I might be wrong, but after Yuyuko is Elly...I think...You know what. I give up. This is too much work.
Now if you were thinking "her mommy's tummy", you'd be anatomically incorrect, since the womb and stomach are two completely different organs. And if you were thinking "when her parents decided to procreate", you're thinking too hard.
Of course, this is ancient news for those who know, including me. ^^" Recently found that video though.
She came from a game, Triangle Hearts. That video should be from the fanbox, Lyrical Toybox. ^^" As you can see, that's quite a difference when you compare it to what happened when she got her own mahou shoujo series.
Well, I'm playing it on the PS3, though this video is from the PC version, LP: EC Colonies Edition. And if you're thinking this looks impossible, you're not too far off.
The boss I'm currently on, a good half way through the game. I'm pretty bad at it too. I'll get through it though.
It's like playing a game on hard, or very hard, except that in LP, that's normal mode.
Looking forwards to LP 2, which might be a tad bit easier, and has a nice online co-op mode...and customizeable characters! My favourite. Need moar friends with PS3's, although I know a good number of people with one.

Title: 東方儚月抄 ~ 月のイナバと地上の因幡, Touhou Bougetsushou - Tsuki no Inaba to Chijou no Inaba, Touhou - Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth
Author: ZUN, Arata Toshihira
Genre: Comedy, Fantasy
Serialized in: Ichijinsha 4-Koma Kings Pallette
Total Volume Count: 2 (Complete)
Kenn's Comment: A funny 4 koma series about Udongein Inaba Reisen, which'll have you really feeling that she's pulled the short end of the straw, every single time. Reisen's one of my favourite Touhou characters, and is competed for 1st place with Reimu ^^"
The art work is cute too ;D I don't think you really need to know too much about Touhou to enjoy it, as there is a bit of an intro to the manga that explains a bit. Aside from that, I don't think there's really anything that would need explanations in the manga.
Summary from MangaUpdates:
A Cute and funny set of stories about two Rabbit Girl yokai - Reisen Udongein Inaba, Tewi Inaba and an Exiled Lunar Princess - Kaguya Houraisan along with Reisen's Master - Erin Yagokoto, and their everyday life in Eientei.
Song from the album "Hope". Song by HazyP.
There's also a good cover by Gakupo and Kaito, which then tells me that Dasuko and Clear need to cover this song. Imitation Black had them singing as Gakupo and Kaito respectively. *u* Please do it.
Hey, it's still a song.
Title: To Zanarkand,Zanarkand
Artist: Arnie Roth (conductor), Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Composed by Nobuo Uematsu
Genre: Game Sound track
Single: N/A
Album: FFX Original Soundtrack
Vintage: 10/05/04
Kenn's Comment: One of my most favourite songs from the Final Fantasy franchise. Even saw it live @ Distant Worlds. Unfortunately, Zanarkand isn't included on the disk, so that made me sad *sad face*. Either way, I've liked it ever since I heard it in the game, even learning to play it on the piano. It's not actually that hard on the piano, though it sounds much better with a full orchestra.
Sorry, that's not my breakfast. Nor is it a photo ^^; You can see more of granada's works here. They're magically delicious. (Yes, that includes Miku)
Anyways, everyone (Weej and TK) has had an entry on breakfast, dinner or whatnot, so I decided to hijack the bandwagon xD. As the title states, it's my midnight snack, and this morning's breakfast, which I just finished a few minutes ago.
Turning the quick, cheap and convenient into a gourmet snack. It's a mini-microwaveable pizza with dried herbs, herbed goat cheese, grated cheddar cheese, and hot sauce. The goat cheese was really tangy, and the snack itself left me with a terrible stomach ache. Something tells me that I'm not trying that again.
Had myself a continental breakfast (technically it's brunch) this morning. Bacon, eggs, toast and tea. Oh so classy. Unfortunately, I didn't make it. My mom made it for me before she left for work, and I was still asleep. Or maybe I was playing Disgaea 2, but either way, I didn't make it.
=l Arcade. Coming soon for the arcades in Japan.
Title: Project DIVA Arcade (tenative)
Developer: SEGA
Genre: Music, Rhythm
System: ARCADE
Kenn's Comment: ._. Well, the news about the new Project DIVA wasn't a PS3 port, but an Arcade version of the game. I wouldn't run it past SEGA to make a port of it in the future though...*crosses fingers*
Anywho, SEGA's accepting entries from the public (Vocaloid User specifically) to submit their songs for the game. Winners will get their songs featured in a test run of the game sometime early next year (2010). They're already some song that people submitted floating around. I've found a few already actually.

SYMPHONIC DIVE
Title: 勇者30, Yuusha 30, Half Minute Hero
Developer: Marvelous Entertainment
Publisher: XSEED
Genre: RPG, STG, RTS, Action
System: Playstation Portable
Vintage: 23/05/09 (JP), 13/11/09 (NA)
Kenn's Comment: Pure genius. The fact that you're constantly timed (with 30 seconds) makes it a bit difficult. I haven't played it yet, but I have it on my PSP. I'm probably going to like playing as either the Princess (STG)or the Demon King (RTS).
Saw it on DannyChoo.com recently. For those who don't know, the concept is from Sora no Otoshimono.
When it's flying, it looks really cool. I really want to build my own. Now, hear me out - it's not because it's a flying pair of pantsu, creating a machine that's capable of flight is, by all means, a feat in itself, even if you are simply following a template. I've how to build the design of the ornithopter the guy uses in the video, and I'm still hunting for the measurements and other details.
It's from the special ending of Sora no Otoshimono episode 2. The song is quite nice ^^;
It's my oldest plant, and I'm not quite sure what it is. All I know is that it's constantly growing new leaves, and it doesn't need much water to keep going. It grew too big for it's old pot, which constantly got knocked down by the wind. It's pretty dusty, but the dust doesn't seem to be impeding it's growth or well being.
My Wax plant. Or at least I call it mine. My mom says it's hers, but it's been in my room from before it grew a leaf, and I've tended to it since then, so I call it mine. At the moment, it's a bit bare, but once it grows bigger and gets it's flowers, it'll be a real beauty. I need a stick or something to let the plant grow and climb up it, since it's sorta drooping out of the pot at the moment. Speaking of growing, this things growing like a weed. Every time I look at it, it's grown a bit.
Yes, it's a bad photo, but this is what a Wax plant will look like if I got it to grow up a stick. It's flowers look really cool. I had a few photos of it, but I lost them when my computer crashed.
The photo below is my mom's wax plant by the way.

Kenn's Comment: Not many chapters have been scanlated, but from the...6 chapters I can say that I really, really enjoyed those 6 chapters. If I had it my way, I'd be able to read it without the translations. But if I had everything my way, I'm sure most of the world would be underneath me, praying to the new ruler.
Summary from MangaUpdates:
Kiriyama Rei is a 17-year old professional shōgi player and very good at it, but in real life, he has nothing. Quiet and not very social, Rei has no family, very few friends, and he doesn't go to school. He is acquainted with a neighboring woman named Akari who single-handedly lives and cares for her two younger sisters, Momo and Hinata. It's life-ish seinen, with strong monologues and reflections by Rei.
Despite the voice, that is still Hatsune Miku, just a different pitch. Song by kalP.
In other news, I know this is pretty late. I also know that I missed yesterday's "song of the week". Blame Demon's Soul. ;O; I spent the day trying to catch up to Keith. Haven't done it yet. So close too. 7-9 levels left before I'm the same level. *u* Killed two bosses today. Firelurker and the Dragon God.
Title: Demon's Soul, デモンズソウル
Developer: From Software
Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment (JP), Atlus (NA)
Genre: Action-RPG (Single Player w/ Online capabilities)
System: PS3
Vintage: 05/02/09 (JP) 07/10/09 (NA)
Kenn's Comment: It's stealing my soul. If you search this game up on forums, you'll find many people saying the same thing. The difficulty is quite different from other games. It's like playing most other games on "hard". Running around is scary too. Especially in the dark, you never know when something's gonna pop out. Scares the crap out of me whenever something does. While I got the game a good four to five days before Keith did, he's still ahead of me...by a whopping 30 plus levels, mainly because he farmed for stuff, while I charged straight to my death. Twas definitely worth my $75. I'm sure Keith would say the same, except for the fact that his Deluxe edition costed him $90.
Awight, consider this a continuation of this.
First off, the opening and ending don't float my boat. Yes, Fairy Tail is a shounen series, akin to Naruto, One Piece and Bleach, but them songs ain't my thing.
Secondly, I'm not too much of a fan of Kugimiya Rie's voice acting for Happy. I've got nothing against her, it's just I really can't stand that voice after three seasons of Zero no Tsukaima, two seasons of Shana, ToraDora!, Gintama, and anything else that she was in. I'm slowly reaching that point with Hirano Aya too, which could be bad news for Lucy.
That aside, I enjoyed the first episode. Yes, I read the manga, so yes, I do know what happens. But it was still entertaining. Natsu's voice is manlier than I thought it'd be, and I'm certainly glad it didn't turn out to be a Naruto-like voice. Thank you Kirihara Tetsuya (seiyuu for Natsu). Aside from Happy's voice, nothing really bugged me about the animation or character design. If this ends up popular (which I'm hoping it does), expect this one to go long for a run, not too different from One Piece, given the similarities.
Image by Yamahana Noriyuki. Taken from here.
Like I said yesterday, today's Thanksgiving, for those of us in Canada, so here's another Manga of ze Week to celebrate. I'm quite fond of this one too.
Title: オレンジ屋根の小さな家, Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie, Little House with the Orange Roof
Arist: Yamahana Noriyuki
Genre: Seinen, Comedy, Drama, Romance
Serialized in: Shueisha Business Jump
Total Volume Count: 8 (complete)
Kenn's Comment: Business Jump doesn't have many series that I know of. Maybe two or three. It's basically a Shounen Jump meant for a much older audience. All of the series are seinen, and most of it isn't meant for children.
Anyways, like I said, I'm quite fond of the series. While being seinen, it has a somewhat shounen feel to it, though I'm not saying it's a bad thing. The characters are nice, and the kids are highly entertaining for me. Scanlation-wise, it's only been scanlated halfway, so there's still a long way to go.
Summary from MangaUpdates:
A man comes home one day to have his wife give him divorce papers. A woman comes home to her apartment one day to find a woman she doesn’t know wrapped in a towel coming out of the shower. They both get conned by the same real estate conman on the same house, a 4LDK. So now the man, his two sons, the woman, and her two daughters live in the same house.
11eyes
It wasn't an awesome first episode, but it wasn't terrible either. Not sure how this will play out, but it certainly was interesting. I'm hoping it doesn't end up like another game adaption, ChaosHead, which wasn't really that great.
Asura Cryin' 2
Not sure what to say. It's not really any different from season one, except now Tomoharu's in pickle. I really want to say what his little predicament is, but I'd spoil. It's licensed by Crunchyroll too.The Book of Bantorra
I'd reckon that this could be one of the season's best series. The first two episodes weren't bad, but the story hasn't actually started yet. It's licensed by Crunchyroll.
Darker than Black Gemini
One of the better series of this season. This episode almost went in it's entirety without any appearance from Hei. I'm definitely keeping this one. Only 12 episodes for this season.
Kampfer
Ah. I'm not too sure what to say. I haven't read much of the manga, so I'm not too sure how this'll turn out. But looking at the way episode two ended, I get the feeling I know how this'll turn out.
Kimi no Todoke
The animation is gorgeous for this series. It was also super faithful to the manga, as I noticed no changes from the source material. If you haven't read the manga, I'd say that you should definitely watch the anime. If you have read the manga, the choice is yours.
Kobato.
Like Kimi no Todoke, the animation is great. Hanazawa Kana is wonderful as Kobato, and her singing voice is really something. Plus, Kobato's got a different outfit everyday, so that's something to look forward to.
Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza
It's not much different from the later episodes of the first season, which weren't too bad. The censorship for this is waaaay overly done. A public bath can't have enough steam to make things look white. It's licensed by Crunchyroll.
Nyan koi!
From the episode preview of next week's episode, it looks like they'll be introducing the next character, which makes me fear that the series will be episodic for a while. It also makes me wonder what happened to all the events that occured before said character shows up. I'm hoping this doesn't take a turn for the worse, as I'm somewhat fond of the series.
Sasameki Koto
Well, the "lily" series of this season (Aoi Hana was last season's). The opening was really quiet, so quite that I had to turn up my volume by quite a bit to hear it. It's really quite relaxing when you can hear it. Much like the series. The first episode comes with comedy, drama, romance and everything that the series is. Although, there is more to it than just the first episode. It's licensed by Crunchyroll.
Seiken no Blacksmith
One of the better series this season. Luke comes off as a jerk, but I feel that there's more to him than just that. So far, all the character's are pretty likeable, and Cecily's already lost her top. Speaking of Cecily's top, how on Earth do they make breastplates for her? ^^" I'd like to do the measuring for the blacksmith.
Seitokai no Ichizon
Well, from the first episode, I can sorta tell that I'm not gonna like this too much. Not the greatest episode. Not too sure how well this'll do. I'm not holding any expectations for it.
Sora no Otoshimono
Well, it wasn't a terrible episode, but from what I've read in the manga, the story isn't entirely interesting for a while. With only 12 episodes, I'm seeing an anime original ending, which tells me that somewhere around episode 9, they'll come up with something. It's licensed by Crunchyroll.
Tegami Bachi
Well, the first episode was the "prequel" in a sense to the actual story. The animation was gorgeous though. It's licensed by Crunchyroll.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun
I suppose this counts as another "lily" series. There more than enough room for anime original episodes, and I'm expecting them to end the series at the end of the first actual ark in the manga.
White Album 2
It's no different from season 1, which I still need to finish.
Since it's a long weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving), there'll be a long weekend bonus tomorrow.
Title: ながされて藍蘭島, Nagasarete Airantou, Cast Away - Airantou (Yes, I know that sounds terrible)
Author: Fujishiro Takeshi
Genre: Shounen, Comedy, Romance
Serialized in: Square Enix Shounen GanGan, GanGan Powered
Total Volume Count: 15 (ongoing)
Kenn's Comment: While it begins like a typical harem story, it's still fairly enjoyable. Later on, the story picks up, and it gets a lot better. It's been running for six years now, so there's got to be something to it. It's got a fair bit of fanservice although it's not senseless and overused...although Ikuto's reaction is getting a bit old. He, like Jin (Kannagi), is a pure pure boy.
Summary from A-T Translations:
Ikuto Touhohin just had a last fight with his old man, one that led him to make a rash decision to run away from home. He boards a ship, deciding to take a vacation, but the ship is suddenly hit by a huge storm--one that sends Ikuto overboard! When he regains consciousness, he realizes he is still alive…on some island. An isolated island. An isolated island with nothing but girls. Stranded on an island with only girls, no electricity, gas, radio, television…like he was back in the stone age.

Well, first off, I'd like to wish Jason a happy birthday. Yes, today's his birthday. I'll be running through what we did at his house, and a few other things that I've done during the day. Sucks that he doesn't have a bedroom anymore.
Awight, so the day started off with Demon's Soul. Actually, it started with my brother playing Demon's Soul. I spent a good chunk of the night playing the game. He was up earlier than I was playing. I've been playing on the PS3 all week, and he hasn't had a chance to ever since I got it, so I let him play. Yes, I'm that nice. It's incredibly difficult. Remember when I said that I had heard that Demon's Soul was similar to DMC (Devil May Cry)? It's not. If anything, it's more similar to most MMORPGs than DMC. If you die, you lose all your souls (money), but you can reclaim them if you can find where you died. However, if you die on your way there, your souls are gone for good. Bah.
Anyways, obviously certain classes will be easier to play than other classes. As cool as Wanderers are, they die like a mofo. Take so much damage. Though, I can't say that Royalty takes less damage...
Anyways, left for Jason's house after. Picked up a shelled chestnut (with it's green shell) to give him. Last year, I got him a bag of chestnuts. Seems that I didn't have this blog the last time his birthday rolled around. I got there pretty early, since there was pretty much no one else. Johnson and Keith were working on setting up a PS3 (Johnson's), but went back to Keith's to get another cable since the one they had didn't work. Darren showed up, then Edmond, twice. Gary came, and then Christ showed up. Once Michael showed up, the noise level shot up instantly. He's the life of the party. He's pretty intense when gaming. It's hilarious to watch too. And with him, everyone becomes loud.
UFC 09 Undisputed was played on one TV, where Carlos, Cris, Gary and a friend of Gary's who's name is Edmond (or Ed) were found. Michael and the rest were on the PS3 playing NHL, and Street Fighter.
I played Poker with Ed, Darren, Jason, and Keith. Did I win? Maybe once out of the 10+ rounds we played. I really suck at Poker.
Food rolled in. Like last year, there was pizza, and sushi. This time we also had deep fried pork, and spaghetti. The pizza and sushi were devoured in an instant.
The games went on again, and later John, Johnson, Darren and Keith went back to Keith's place (again) to get a connector cable for the 360's. "You won't believe what John just did." It wasn't as bad as we thought it was, though it was still pretty stupid.
Johnson, Edmond, Darren, and John went out to buy a deck of cards for Big 2, since all the decks at Jason's place were missing cards, no thanks to "those idiots" who threw them around. Halo started up on one of the TVs, while UFC still played on the other. I left before Halo was started up on both TVs.
xD Rin's too cute in this MV. Song by ばすてぃP. Love the sax solos too.
Yes, I'm the proud owner of a PS3. I got it a few days ago, though I didn't post anything up because I was waiting for Demon Souls.
In the span of a week, I've seen my savings being chipped away, blowing $482.10 on the PS3, games and everything else that I got for it.
I've been playing Devil May Cry 4 recently, since I heard Demon Souls was like DMC. DMC could be practice for the real game? Who knows. Anyways, looking forwards to Final Fantasy XIII, in which the concert last night made me even less patient for December to come.
Went to pick up Demon Souls today. Went with my cousin down to Queensborough Landing to get it @ EB (where I had it preordered). Also went to return a cable for the PS3 that I didn't use. Got $30 back. Traffic was terrible on the way back. My iTouch's shuffle had a pattern going for a while too. It's play two songs by the same artist before moving on to a new artist. Jason Mraz, Mraz, Jack Johnson, Johnson, Okkervil River, Okkervil, Marianas Trench, Marianas Trench, and so on and so forth. After a while though the pattern broken down.
On another note, I'm using my old camera again. It's much older, and crappier than my usual camera, but my brother stole it, and isn't giving it back anytime soon. I guess my old one's okay, but I won't be able to take any wonderful shots. Speaking of which, I've gotta do Miku's photo shoot. Fark.
Anyways, I'm off to DMC4 again, so I'll see you tomorrow for the Weekly Vocaloid Feature! (It's a good one, and it's not a Miku one)
Title: The Right Place
Artist: Monsters of Folk
Genre: Alt. Rock/ Indie Rock
Single: N/A
Album: Monsters of Folk
Vintage: 22/09/09
Kenn's Comment: It's a super group formed a while ago, consisting of members of various groups (namely My Morning Jacket, and Bright Eyes). They're really good, but I guess that's only if you can take the genre ^^". The album has a pretty cool cover too.

So me and two friends (whom shall be named Jeff and Lucy) went downtown earlier tonight to see the Distant Worlds concert. It was wonderful! The music was awesome, and some of the accompanying video was quite humorous. Especially ones from the earlier games, mainly due to the graphics back then. Felt a tad bit under-dressed however. Jeff was somewhere in between semi formal and formal, Lucy was semi formal, and I was pretty much casual. A dress shirt underneath a sweater, jeans and sneakers. Essentially, I looked like a preppy. Lots of people were in full formal, although there were also quite a few people even more shoddily dressed than me. 2 Cosplayers spotted; Rufus, and a Summoner (the class with the Horn head band).
Anyways, the concert opened with Liberi Fatali from Final Fantasy VIII (in which most of the songs were from). I can't remember the order of the songs anymore, so I'll just list the songs that were played in no particular order.
Liberi Fatali (VII)
To Zanarkand (X)
Don't be Afraid (VIII)
Ronfaure (XI)
Fisherman's Horizon (VIII)
Dear Friends (V)
Vamo alla flamenco (IX)
Opening ~Bombing Mission (VII)
Aerith's Theme (VII)
Swing de Chocobo (FF)
Final Fantasy VII Main Theme (VII)
Love Grows (VIII)
Theme of Love (IV)
Man With a Machine Gun (VIII)
Memoro de la Stono - Distant Worlds (XI)
Opera "Maria and Draco" Aria di Mezzo Carattere (VI)
Terra's Theme (VI)
One Winged Angel (VII)
My favourite songs from them were To Zanarkand, Ronfaure, Fisherman's Horizon, Love Grows, and Maria and Draco.
It was well worth the $65 tickets, and probably would've been much more had Uematsu made an actual appearance. He did make a video appearance, however, it was short, but also comical, as the camera was pointed at a statue, while he talked.
Jeff was disappointed that he could buy the CD on sale. Was close to buying it before the concert, but he didn't get it. After the concert, he had to have it, but it was sold out. Perhaps it was Lucy's comments prior to the concert that stopped Jeff from buying it...because after when it was sold out, we were harping on him on how we totally called it.
Ride home was full of "I would do that again, and again.", "I would relive that moment just for the concert", "Now I don't have anything to look forwards to..." Guess which comment is mine."It'll be 7 minutes!"
"He won't take 7 minutes. He'll come back in like 2 minutes because they don't have it."
"They're sold out..."
"Told you so"
Anyways, I'm missing the concert already. The music I've got playing right now can't live up to a live orchestra. Yes Andrew, Touhou rock arrangement's can't beat a live orchestra.

So today was the last day of the Summer Night Market. Can't say it was really busy, but it was decent. Especially for the last day. Quite excited, although now I really don't have much to do. It's quite a long post, though it's fitting for the end of a series.
I took some photos, since I finally got my camera back from my brother (who thinks it's okay to just steal my camera and never give it back). They're not much, but I never had the time to take any.
Under the element of our propane stove. I've had a bad experience with this thing.
The brainchild of my cousin. Deep fried Cha siu bao (BBQ Pork Buns). It has less batter than yesterday, so it's not as crispy. The outside tastes like a Chinese doughnut, while the inside, the barbecued pork, remains piping hot. It's delicious, but it's also terrible for you.
There are usually more people than that. Photo was taken after the market closed. In the summer, you couldn't see the other end (it's fall now).
Our stall. Green Lemongrass is a restaurant in Richmond. It's at 8180 Westminster Hwy, and gets you great food for a low price. We get good ratings from every one, and on Urban Spoon, we're the second best in the city. Unfortunately, no offense to the employees and owner, Phnom Penh isn't in Vietnam ^^". Although, I'm pretty sure Cambodia and Vietnam very similar...We've got higher ratings on Urban Spoon than PP, though they've got one more award than we do.
Anywho, after the market closed up, the party started. Broke out the poker chips and a deck of cards and played some Texas Hold-em. Played with one of my cousins' friend, who worked at a stall at the end of our row, and Billy, from the stall next door, Rainy Cow. Does Kenn know how to play? I do now. Sorta. I won once out of more than 10 rounds, with triple queens. I'll have to practice a bit before I show up to any game. Munched on egg balls/ bubble waffles, deep fried chicken wings, and more deep fried cha siu bao's. Billy won the last round with two pairs.
Gonna have to come back later in the week to pack up all the equipment. No clue where it's gonna go. Perhaps the next Summer Night Market post will be next year? Gonna miss the night market. It was a bit of a pain, having the weekend sucked away, but not in school, and without a job (but not a NEET) left me with a good bit of spare time. Now I'll have three more days I can have music lessons on. Great joy! Still need to get some pics of Figma Miku, and finish watching the fall season episodes, as well as the end of the summer series. Lots of blogging comin' up. Feelin' lazy already. xD

This one still doesn't have enough releases, so I decided to give you guys another one. Same author too. xD
Title: 乙嫁語り, Otoyomegatari, Young Bride's Story
Author: Mori Kaoru
Genre: Seinen, Drama, Historical, Romance, Slice of Life
Serialized in: Enterbrain Fellows!
Total Volume Count: 1 (ongoing)
Kenn's Comment: *u* The art work is absolutely gorgeous. Like her other works, 乙嫁語り is set some time in the historical past, with historical references and what not. The first thing you'll notice when you read this is the intricacy of the art work. The detailing is stunning. As you can tell from the image up there, this isn't set in Japan. It's somewhere around present day Turkey I guess. Anywho, I recommend this to anyone who has read and liked Mori's Emma ( I loved that.)

Title: エマ, 英國戀物語エマ, Emma, Emma - A Victorian Romance
Author: Mori Kaoru
Genre: Seinen, Drama, Historical, Romance, Slice of Life
Serialized in: Enterbrain Comic Beam
Total Volume Count: 7 (Complete) + 3 Volume Sequel (エマ 番外編)
Kenn's Comment: The story is lovely, and the artwork is gorgeous. From what I've read, it's crosshatched ink drawings, and is historically correct, as Mori hired a Historical Consultant, making it that much more appealing. Characters will make you rage, but you have to remember that the story takes place during the Victorian era, where our present day ideals don't necessarily match up to ones at that time. Anyways, I highly recommend this manga, along with it's sequel, to anyone who likes this genre. I know there are people like And out there who can't appreciate a lovely romance, so I'm not gonna force it on you.
Summary from CMX:
In Victorian-era England, a young girl is rescued from a life of destitution and raised to become a proper British maid. Emma meets William, the eldest son of a wealthy family, and immediately falls in love with him. William shares her feelings, but the strict rules of their society prevent their relationship from ever coming out in the open. Traditional class distinctions and rich, historical details provide the backdrop for this appealing romance.

Alrighty, so it was the second last day of the summer night market. Tomorrow's the end.
It was really cold. I had a sweater on with a polo underneath, and it was still cold. Business was better than yesterday, but definitely not the best we've seen.
Had some fun with buddies next door from Rainy Cow. Deep fried BBQ pork buns from a stall across from us. Tasted like the Chinese Donuts, except with pork in the middle. Really good. Deep fried Sui Mai after. Not so great. The Cha Siu Bao was definitely better.
Guess what. I bought a screen protector for my iTouch, but I forgot it at our stall. *face palm* I even said that I'd have to remember it. Fark. I knew I'd forget it = =" Should've put it on before leaving. "orz
A nice song by One Room (ジミーサムP) I'm pretty sure he/she/they put out a CD. It's really good, if the rest of the songs are like this. I like this one.
So Phantom ended a little while ago, and I've held off doing this for a bit for procrastinator's reasons. Anyways, it'll be in the same format as I did the Bakemonogatari one.
Can't seem to upload images anymore. I'll have to try again tomorrow. D:
Admit it. We all knew this guy was a nut. A nut with a terrible taste of course. That mask is horrendous. The two at his sides aren't bad though. I liked the one with the ponytail.
It's been a while since I've seen those lifeless eyes of the phantom. Those eyes mean serious business...and kick ass.
Remember how I said I liked the girl with the ponytail? Reason for past tense explained in picture.
Reiji sequence is next. I think his scenes were the best in this episodes.
Again, Reiji's scenes were the best, mainly because he had the most action. Much of Elen (Ein)'s scenes were dialogue. A good chunk of the episode was her dialogue actually.
