Infinite Stratos (IS), a weaponized exoskeleton system, has become the dominant tool of warfare and conflict. Unfortunately for the men in society, only women are able to operate Infinite Stratos... with very few exceptions. One of those exceptions is ORIMURA Ichika, an orphan raised by his older sister who is herself a famous IS pilot. When his compatibility with IS is discovered after he accidentally touches an IS at the age of 15, he's given a scholarship and enrolled in a school that specializes in training IS pilots. Which of course means an... intersting life surrounded by girls for this shy, unassuming boy.

Kenn's Comment: Unfortunately, that summary from ANN makes it sound like 95% of the not-so-great novel to anime adaptations (Chrome Shelled Regios was okay, could've been better from what I've read in the novels, and Kampfer was pretty bad...though that's partially because of the source material).  That being said, I've read a bit about it, the protagonist is quite likeable and isn't useless like 80% of the male shounen rom-com leads out there. Hopefully the animation and story board crew don't push the fanservice button too much like Gonzo did with Rosario+Vampire (which totally killed it imo).

This is more or less 8-Bit's first time at the helm of the operations for an anime series. They've done a bit of other works...and they seem to be a fairly new company, so I'm not too sure about how this will turn out. Looks like the series has a lot of potential to be a great series, so I'm hoping this turns out to be good.
