An anime series for this just might be a tad bit too early.
Title: べるぜバブ, Beelzebub

Series Summary from ANN:
The story follows the "strongest juvenile delinquent", Oga Tatsumi, a first year in "Ishiyama High" the school for delinquents. One day while sleeping next to a river he sees a man floating down it, he pulls him to shore and the man splits in half revealing a baby boy. This boy is the son of the demon king and he has been chosen as the one to raise it with the baby's demon maid Hilda. The story follows his life with the child and at the delinquent school.
Kenn's Comment: Something's up with ANN's page for Pierrot. There's a Studio Pierrot, AND a Pierrot, though the websites and founding date for both groups are the same. Therefore I shall assume that they are the same companies.
Pierrot is by no means a small studio. While you may not have heard of them specifically, there's no way you haven't heard of series they've done. Bleach, Naruto, Tegami Bachi, Hikaru no Go, Emma, and GTO, among a long list of other series.
That being said, I still think that it might be a wee bit early for an anime adaptation. It's nice that series other than Bleach, Naruto and One Piece are getting attention, but there's not all that much to work on. There's definitely enough for a single season. I won't deny that you could make one really good series, and just let it sit until enough material comes out and bring it back when there's enough stuff, but that kind of thing doesn't really work unless you: 1) plan to do that in the first place 2) gather enough attention and viewers with the first season.
Anywho, it's a great manga and I'm looking forward to seeing how Pierrot handles this one. Some of the images on the site looked kind of funky though.
