Series Summary from MangaUpdates:
Furuya's obsessed with zombies. He collects any figurines, watches any movie, and plays any game with the living dead, and is even only interested in zombie girls. When his cat dies, Furuya begins trying to raise it from the dead using an ancient book of the occult he bought from a shop. But what will happen when he sees the idol of a nearby all girl's school walking close to where he conducts his experiment, wishing to die and be reborn as a different person?
Kenn's Comment: The anime adaptation of the manga series that I featured many moons ago. This wouldn't be the first of Hattori-sensei's works to be animated either.

Anywho, this one...is a bit different from most rom-coms. Not many rom-coms have zombies, guts and torn off limbs (mind you, these come up...not so often).

I can sort of see a few decent ending points for where the anime could cut off, but that really all depends on how they pace it. They're definitely getting to the second volume, but the real question is how fast they're going to get there. Another concern is, as always, DEEN's wonderful hit-or-miss reputation. Some series get the spectacular treatment, while others suffer and leave quite a bit to be desired. I've got no problems with the voice cast, the series composer is behind Baccano! and DRR!, both of which I loved, and the music is by Hashimoto Yukari, who's behind the music of Penguindrum, and Kanamemo, among others. Director...seems to be new because I can't really find anything on him.
