Kurashita Tsukimi is a "kurage (jelly fish) otaku" girl who wants to be an illustrator. She comes to Tokyo and starts to live in a girl-only apartment Amamizukan. One day she meets a fashionable lady, who saves a jelly fish. But she turns out to be a man in drag.

Kenn's Comment: I'm always up for Brains Base, and this is no exception. This is the adaptation of the award winning and nominated Josei manga by Higashimura Akiko, who isn't exactly new to awards either. The series features a full female cast, with a 'special' guest.

Interesting way of doing trailers too. Rather than putting one fairly expensive PV out like everyone (okay, so most) is doing, Brains Base has been releasing short, low budget animations to rile up some enthusiasm. Each one is narrated by a different character.
